Kaomangai

 

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs

  • 1 bulb garlic

  • 1” ginger

  • 3 leeks

  • 2 cups rice

  • 1 bunch cilantro

    For The Sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Fish sauce

  • 1 Tbsp Vinegar

  • 1 tsp Sugar

  • Ginger

  • White park of leeks

  • Add water if you need

 

Directions

  1. Pound the chicken all together with garlic and ginger and cook with some chicken skin or fat in the pan.

  2. In a rice cooker, add the rice, water per instructions, and add the chicken on top along with the greens of the leeks and cilantro, and cook until rice is finished.

  3. Combine sauce ingredients and set aside

  4. Once the rice is finished, serve chicken and rice, and spoon sauce over the top
