Zero Carb Crust Hot Pocket

Enjoy a pizza pocket without the carbs! Seasoned ground chicken is the crust, and inside is your favorite toppings! This recipe is gluten free!

 

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground chicken

  • ¼ cup grated cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste 

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tsp italian seasoning

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste 

  • ½ cup cheese, shredded 

  • ¼ cup turkey pepperoni slices 

  • oil spray

 

Directions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 375F

  2. In a large mixing bowl, add your ground chicken, and your seasonings - salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder and chili powder. Mix well.

  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, spray oil spray and add your chicken crust. 

  4. Spread your crust to about ¼ inch thick and add your mozzarella cheese and pepperoni toppings on one side. You can use any topping you’d like at this time. 

  5. Fold your pocket over and seal your edges. 

  6. Add grated cheese on the top, and press down. You’re making a crust. 

  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes for your chicken to cook thoroughly, and then broil for the last 2-3 minutes for extra crisp. 

  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes, cut and enjoy!
