Vietnamese BBQ Pork Steaks
Ingredients
Center cut pork steaks
Bon Bo Hue BBQ Sauce
SPOG rub:
½ cup kosher salt
1 cup coarse black pepper
½ cup granulated onion
½ cup granulated garlic
Directions
Lightly season Pork Steaks with the SPOG rub.
Over hot coals, sear steaks on both sides. After a 2 mins per side sear, baste meat with A Bun Bo Hue BBQ sauce, or any style Vietnamese sauce that you may find
After basting, sear the sauced steaks for about 30 seconds per side, then stack Pork ribs together away from the heat on the grill. Cover the grill and let the Steaks simmer for 10 minutes on the indirect side.
Remove from heat and serve these up with a side of plain rice and some glazed carrots.
