Fideo-Roni Creamy Chicken Pasta

Make dinner easy and creamy! Fideo noodles are served with chicken and a garlic cream sauce and topped with parmesan cheese
 

Ingredients

  • 8 oz fideo noodles

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, diced

  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped

  • 1 green bell pepper, diced

  • ½ cup Parmesan garlic sauce

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • Kinders Buttery Steakhouse, to taste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tbsp olive oil. Season the diced chicken breast with salt and pepper, then cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

  2. In the same skillet, add the remaining olive oil and sauté the onion, garlic, and green bell pepper until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. Add the fideo noodles to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables, stirring frequently, until the noodles are lightly toasted.

  4. Reduce the heat to low, then add the Parmesan garlic sauce and heavy whipping cream, stirring to combine. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, stirring until everything is coated with the sauce.

  5. Let the mixture simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens and the noodles are tender.

  6. Top with grated Parmesan cheese then serve hot.
