Ingredients:
• 1 Can Chicken, Drained
• 6 TBSPS Butter, Salted
• 1/8 C. AP Flour
• 2 C. Whole Milk
• 1/2 C. Sour Cream
• 1.5 C. Egg Noodles
• 2 Slices White Bread
• 3/4 TSP Salt
• 1/2 TSP Black Pepper
Recipe:
1. Preheat oven to 400F. Boil your noodles until almost done. In a skillet melt butter and add flour. Cook until floury taste is gone. Add milk and seasonings. Make a gravy. Add in sour cream and whisk well together.
2. Drain your noodles when done, leaving a little bit of water in the pot. Add in sour cream to the gravy mix. Add in chicken and mix well. Then add in noodles and pasta water.
3. Stir together well and place in a casserole dish. Place in oven for 35 minutes. Make bread crumbs with the two slices of bread and add 2 tbsps of the butter from before, melted added into the bread crumbs.
4. Take casserole out of the oven. Top with bread crumbs and cook for another 20-25 minutes in the oven until bread crumbs have browned. Let sit 15 minutes and then serve! Enjoy!
