Ingredients
4 thin boneless pork chops
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp butter
Your favorite seasoning blend (suggested: garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika)
1 tbsp oil (for pan-frying)
Directions
Rub both sides of the thin pork chops with your seasoning blend. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with about 1 tablespoon of oil. Once hot, add the pork chops and sear for 2–3 minutes per side, or until nicely browned and just cooked through. Remove them from the pan and set aside.
Lower the heat to medium. Add the butter to the pan and let it melt. Stir in the brown sugar, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Let it simmer for 2 minutes, stirring constantly, until it starts to thicken.
Return the pork chops to the skillet and spoon the sauce over them. Let them simmer in the sauce for 5 minutes, flipping once and continuing to baste.
Plate the pork chops and drizzle any extra sauce over the top. Perfect with mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies.
