Walnut Basil Pesto

 

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh chopped basil(packed tight)

  • ¼ cup toasted walnuts

  • ⅓ cup olive oil

  • ½ lemon

  • ⅓ cup parmesan and romano cheese

  • ¼ tbsp Sea Salt

  • Pinch of black pepper

 

Directions

  1. Add walnuts, lemon juice and garlic to the food processor. Add basil on top. Blend until well combined.

  2. Add olive oil and pulse to incorporate. Add cheese and black pepper. Salt to taste.

  3. Use immediately or it holds up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
