Caramelized Carrots

 

Ingredients

  • 6 Large carrots peeled and cut into strips.

  • ½ Stick butter

  • Generous sprinkle of SPG

  • 2 tbsp raw honey

  • 3 tsp red pepper flakes

 

Directions

  1. Position oven rack on top and preheat to 425 degrees F.

  2. Wash carrots and cut them into strips. Place in a bowl, drizzle melted butter. Sprinkle with seasonings then toss and coat.

  3. Transfer the carrots to a baking sheet and spread them out evenly. Roast on top rack for 20-30 minutes or until the carrots are golden tender, shaking and stirring halfway through.

  4. When done, toss carrots in a bowl and then drizzle with honey and sprinkle pepper flakes. Toss to coat well. Adjust seasoning or spices to your taste.
