Thanksgiving Leftover Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1 package of Hawaiian rolls (12-count)

  • 12 slices of provolone cheese (or your choice of cheese)

  • 1 ½ cups leftover stuffing

  • 1 cup jellied cranberry sauce

  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley (optional)

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the entire pack of Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally (keeping them connected).

Place the bottom half of the rolls in a sheet pan lined with foil paper. Leave enough to be able to cover the top of the rolls to prevent over -browning

  2. Place 6 slices of cheese evenly over the bottom rolls.

Spread the stuffing evenly over the cheese.

Spread a layer of jellied cranberry sauce on top of the stuffing.

Add 6 more slices of cheese on top.

  3. Place the top half of the Hawaiian rolls over the layers.

  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and parsley, if desired. Brush the butter mixture generously over the top of the rolls.

  5. Wrap the rolls completely with the foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.

  6. Remove from the oven and let the sliders cool slightly before cutting and serving.
