Sweet Smoky Spoonfuls

These Sweet Smoky Baked Beans are slow-baked to perfection with rich molasses, brown sugar, and crispy bacon for that classic BBQ flavor. A comforting side dish that’s easy to make and full of sweet, tangy, and smoky goodness—perfect for potlucks, picnics, or backyard cookouts!

 

Ingredients

  • 2 (16-ounce) cans of baked beans with pork

  • 1/4 cup molasses

  • 1/4 cup chopped onions

  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

  • 1 tablespoon mustard

  • 2 slices of bacon, chopped

 

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine baked beans, molasses, onions, brown sugar, ketchup, and mustard.

  3. Grease a casserole dish with cooking spray and transfer the bean mixture into it. Top with chopped bacon.

  4. Cover the dish and bake for 1 hour or until the beans thicken.
