Sugar Cookies

There is no need to chill the dough. These are perfect for decorated sugar cookies as these are a no spread, no rise cookie

 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup salted butter

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • ½ tsp almond extract

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tsp baking powder

  • 3 cups all purpose flour

 

Directions

  1. In a stand mixer, beat the sugar and butter until it is a light and fluffy mixture. Add in the vanilla, almond, and eggs and mix until combined.

  2. Whisk together the flour and baking powder. Slowly add to the wet ingredients until it forms a dough.

  3. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for 9 minutes.
