Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Brussels sprouts are best roasted, and even better with parmesan cheese and balsamic glaze

 

Ingredients

  • 1½ pounds Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling (optional)

 

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

  3. Spread the Brussels sprouts in a single layer on a baking sheet.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through the cooking time.

  5. Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

    Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving, if you like.
