Total Time: 25 minutes
Ingredients
For the Fish:
4 Cod fillets (about 6 ounces each)
Salt and black pepper to taste
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
For the Sauce:
1 cup sour cream
1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon citric acid
Salt and black pepper to taste
Directions
Start by seasoning the cod fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt.
Add the cod to the pan. Cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
For the sauce, combine the sour cream, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, and citric acid in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Stir until well combined.
Serve the pan-fried cod hot, topped with a generous spoonful of the creamy dill sauce.
Enjoy your meal!
