Hawaiian Banana Nut Bread

 

Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour

  • 2 cups sugar

  • 1½ cups vegetable oil

  • 1 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 3 beaten eggs

  • 2 mashed banana

  • 1 cup drained pineapple

  • 2 tsp vanilla

  • Chocolate chips (optional)

 

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish

  2. Mix together the flour, sugar, pecans, salt, and cinnamon and set aside

  3. Combine the eggs, vegetable oil, banana, pineapple, and vanilla. Add to the flour mixture. 

  4. Stir until just moistened. Add to baking dish and top with chocolate chips if using

  5. Bake for 1 hour and let cool 10 minutes before slicing
