Ingredients:
• 1 Chicken Breast, Cut in Half, Butterflied on Each Half and Tenderized
• 1 C. AP Flour
• 1 TSP Garlic Salt + A Dash for the Chicken
• 1 TSP Black Pepper + A Dash for the Chicken
• 1 Large Egg + Half a C. Of Water to Make Egg Wash
• Oil for Frying
Preparation:
Prepare your chicken and start getting your oil hot. In a bag or bowl combine flour and seasonings. In another bowl make your egg wash by whisking one egg and water together until bubbles form at the surface.
Dip your chicken in the egg wash then in the bag and shake. Do this twice for a thick coating. Set chicken on a plate when done to set for twenty to thirty minutes before frying.
Once ready add two breaded chicken pieces in at a time and fry on each side on a medium heat about seven to ten minutes each. Save your excess flour for gravy.
Once chicken is done set on a plate lined with paper towels. Repeat other Chicken. Serve and enjoy when done!
Candied Oven Roasted Carrots
Ingredients:
• 3 Medium to Large Carrots, Peeled, Washed, and Parallel Cut
• 2 TBSPS Butter. Salt and Cubed
• 1/8 C. White Granular Sugar
• Dash of Garlic Salt and Black Pepper
• 1 TSP Dried Parsley
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 375F. In a small casserole dish add all of your ingredients and your prepared parallel cut carrots.
Add the butter last by dotting it.
Cover it with aluminum foil and bake in a ready oven for 45 minutes.
Once baked for 45 minutes, uncover and stir.
Bake for 15 more minutes uncovered.
When done take out of the oven, stir again and stir hot.
Note: This makes two servings of candied carrots for dinners. Double it for four servings. 1/8 C. Turns into 1/4 C.
Home Style Easy Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
• 4 Small to Medium Potatoes, Peeled & Chunked
• 2-4 TBSPS Butter
• 1/4 C. Milk
• Salt & Black Pepper to Taste
Preparation:
Prepare potatoes and place in a pot.
Cover with water and boil until fork tender.
Once tender enough, strain the water and add in salt, pepper, and butter.
Mash the potatoes well.
Then add in the milk and stir milk into the potatoes. Serve and enjoy!
