Ingredients

  • 1 rack St. Louis-style ribs (cut into individual rib pieces)

• 1 tbsp chipotle purée

• Juice of 2 blood oranges

• 1 tsp ground cumin

Salt and pepper to taste

• Fresh cilantro (chopped, for garnish)

• 1-2 chili peppers (sliced, for garnish)

Directions

  1. Place the individual rib pieces in a large bowl. Add the chipotle purée, blood orange juice, ground cumin, salt, and pepper to taste. Toss the ribs until well coated, ensuring all sides absorb the marinade. Let them marinate for 10 minutes.

  2. Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (188°C). Arrange the ribs meat side down in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each rib for even cooking. Air fry for 15 minutes.

  3. After the first 15 minutes, flip the ribs meat side up to allow the top to get crispy.

Air fry for another 15 minutes, or until the ribs are golden brown and crispy on top.

  4. Transfer the ribs to a plate and sprinkle with chopped cilantro and sliced chili peppers for a pop of color and spice.
