Williamsburg bread aka Sopapilla bread #itssogood!

Ingriedients:

  • 2 pkg crescent rolls (or sheets)

  • 2(8oz) cream cheese (room temp)

  • 1 egg yolk and white separated

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/4 cup sugar mixed w 1 tsp cinnamon

Preparation:

  1. Pre heat oven to 350°.

  2. Spray 13x9 pan.

  3. Spread 1 pkg of crescent dough in the pan.

  4. In a bowl blend cream cheese, sugar & egg yolk. Spread over the crescent rolls in the pan.

  5. Add the second layer of crescent rolls.

  6. Baste the top of the pastry w egg white.

  7. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top.

  8. Bake for 30-35 mins.

(optional) top w berries or your favorite fruit add whipped cream drizzle w honey or maple syrup. Can be served warm or cold. This also freezes well!
