Ingredients
- 1/2 Lb of breakfast sausage
- 1 block of cream cheese
- 2 tbsps of maple syrup
- 1 pack of crescent rolls
Directions
1. Brown your sausage in a skillet.
2. Once browned add your cream cheese and maple syrup.
3. Turn the heat down to low and mix well u til cream cheese has melted.
4. Once melted and combined well with the syrup and the sausage, set to the side.
5. Open your croissant roll and lay them down and lay them out flat. Pinch together any seams and roll them together with a rolling pin.
6. Once you’ve made one giant croissant roll sheet, smear your sausage and cream cheese filling over your croissant rolls equally.
7. Then roll your croissant sheet dough like if you were making cinnamon buns.
8. Once rolled, wrap them in plastic wrap and aluminum foil and refrigerate for 30-60 minutes.
9. When done refrigerating, unroll them and slice them into pinwheel shapes.
10. Place them on a baking paper lined cooking sheet and place them into a 375F preheat oven.
11. Bake for 20-30 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
12. Allow to cool if you can before devouring them! Enjoy!
