Ingredients
½ cup peanut butter
⅓ cup butter, softened
⅔ cup white sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
In a medium bowl, cream together the peanut butter and softened butter. Add in white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the peanut butter mixture until well combined.
Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the top springs back when gently touched.
Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares.
