Grape Salad

This grape salad is an elevated sweet dessert fruit salad with red and green grapes, cream cheese, and vanilla with a toasted pecan and brown sugar topping

 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound green seedless grapes

  • 1 pound red seedless grapes

  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened

  • 4 ounces sour cream

  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar

  • ⅓ cup pecan pieces toasted (or walnuts)

  • 2 tablespoons raisins (optional)

 

Directions

  1. Wash and dry the grapes well. 


  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, sugar and vanilla, using a hand mixer or wisk.


  3. Place the grapes into a large bowl and fold in the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until ready to eat.

  4. Optional: Toast the pecans. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the pecans on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes until they smell fragrant.


  5. When ready to serve, sprinkle the brown sugar and pecan (or walnut) pieces on the top.
