Granny Sue’s Chicken Pot Pie Recipe
Ingredients
Filling: -
1-2 Chicken breasts, cooked & shredded
1 can of cream of mushroom soup
1 can of cream of chicken soup
2 cans of mixed vegetables
Chicken broth, if needed

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375F.
In a bowl mix your cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, some broth and your vegetables together.
In a 9x13 casserole dish, layer the bottom of the pan with the shredded chicken.
Then poor then filling on top.
In the same bowl mix together 1 cup of self-rising flour, 1 stick of melted butter and your one cup of milk until a nice batter has formed.
Sprinkle a little black pepper on top of the chicken pot pie before adding the crust.
Once you’ve sprinkled the black pepper, add the crust (batter) on top and smooth out with the back of a spatula.
Place into the oven and bake for 45-60 minutes or until the crust is golden and the chicken pot pie is bubbly.
Once done cooking, allow to cool before serving, if you can! Then serve and enjoy!
