Easy Mexican Restaurant Style Pico De Gallo

Ashton @JustLikeGranny had an urge for some “south of the border” flavors and went live with her version of an '“Delicious Sort of Authentic Chicken Quesadilla, and with her David’s Favorite Homemade Guacamole . Today we share her adapted Easy Mexican Restaurant Style Pico De Gallo.

Easy Mexican Restaurant Style Pico De Gallo

📖 Ingredients:

  • 5 large roma tomatoes, Diced

  • 1 small red onion, dice

  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced

  • 2-3 jalapeños, deseeded & minced

  • 1 bunch of fresh cilantro or coriander, chopped

  • juice of 2 limes

  • salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: zest the limes before juicing them for an even fresher bite to the pico de gallo. 

Preparation:

  1. Prepare all of your vegetables and place into a medium sized bowl. 

  2. Add the zest and lime juice and mix well together. 

  3. Season to taste with salt and black pepper. 

  4. Serve with chips or on the side to any Spanish inspired or authentic dish. 

  5. Enjoy!
