Chocolate Fudge Pie

When Christine (@OctoberDragonFly) share a sweet treat, I also something to make our @Foodtotoktv family drool. Today was no different as she shares here version of a Chocolate Fudge Pie

Chocolate Fudge Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 8oz  room temp cream cheese 

  • 1 14 Oz can of sweetened condensed milk

  • 1 pkg  10-12oz chocolate chips, (what you like)

  • 2 8oz whipped topping containers 

  • 2 Oreo pie shells

  • Whipped cream for topping

Directions are as follows : 

  1. In a microwave safe dish add your package of chocolate chips, reserve a few for topping and 1/2 of the sweetened condensed milk, stir until all the chocolate chips are covered 

  2. Microwave for 1 min

  3. Stir the mixture. It looks like it’s has seized, but it’s ok trust the process.

  4. To a large bowl add cream cheese, the rest of the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chip mixture. Blend until smooth. (I use an immersion blender but a mixer or by hand is ok too)

  5. Next fold in the thawed whipped topping, 1 container at a time until blended. 

  6. Divide the mix between the 2 pie crusts but do not overfill.

  7. You can add toppings before you freeze for 2-3 hours or wait and do it  afterward.

    Note - I find I always have extra filling leftover which is great for cookie dip.  Or make a crustless version.
