Temperature Conversions Tips
For well over 25 years the US has been in debate over its measurement systems. Unlike other parts of the world, the US doesn’t use the metric system as its standard measure.
But as the Internet and cultural expansion has grown, so has awareness of international cooking recipes, which will often use metric measures or degree Celsius, when referring to temperature. Which when it comes to food and cooking will usually result in more consistent outcomes. Our own Caz (@Cooking_With_Caz) put together this simple chart for oven temperature conversion.
Oven Temperatures: Fahrenheit to Celsius
250° F = 120° C
275° F = 135° C
300° F = 150° C
325° F = 160° C
350° F = 180° C
375° F = 190° C
400° F = 200° C
425° F = 220° C
450° F = 230° C
475° F = 240° C
500° F = 260° C
