Spiked Tea Elixir
Ingredients
1 sachet green mint tea
1 sachet peach turmeric ginger tea
8 oz hot water
4 oz steamed lemonade
1–1.5 oz bourbon of your choice
1–2 tsp honey (adjust to taste)
1 honey stick (optional)
Garnish: lemon wheel
Directions
Steep the green mint tea and peach turmeric ginger tea sachets in 8 oz of hot water for 3–5 minutes, or until it reaches your preferred strength.
Stir honey into the hot tea until dissolved. Heat the lemonade in a small saucepan or microwave until steaming but not boiling.
Pour the bourbon into the mug of tea, followed by the steamed lemonade. Stir gently to combine.
Garnish with a lemon wheel. If desired, serve with a honey stick for added sweetness and presentation
Quick Microwave Method: Add the water and lemonade to a heat-resistant glass. Heat it in the microwave for 2 ½–3 minutes.
Take the glass out of the microwave, add the tea bags, and stir in the honey to steep and dissolve.
Pour in the bourbon and stir gently to combine
Garnish with a lemon wheel and serve with a honey stick if desired.
Tips:
• Adjust the amount of honey and bourbon to match your taste preferences.
• For a fruitier note, consider adding a splash of juice or using flavored honey.
