Sautéed Asparagus with Garlic and Butter

Ingredients
1 bunch asparagus, cleaned and trimmed (woody ends removed, bottom slightly peeled)
1 cup beef broth
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
1 garlic clove, smashed
Salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Bring a pot of beef broth to a boil.
Blanch the asparagus in the broth for 1 minute, then remove and drain.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil, butter, and garlic.
Add the asparagus to the skillet, season with salt, and sauté for 1.5 to 2 minutes, tossing occasionally.
Remove from heat, season with black pepper, and serve immediately.
