Grilled Lobster Tail with Creamy Garlic Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails (6-8 oz each)

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup heavy cream

  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Using kitchen shears, cut along the top of each lobster shell to expose the meat. Lift the meat over the shell without detaching it. Brush the lobster meat with olive oil and season with paprika, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Place the lobster tails meat-side down on the hot grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes.

Flip the tails and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes, or until the meat is opaque and tender. Remove from the grill and set aside.

  3. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  4. Stir in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.

Mix in the lemon juice and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. Arrange the grilled lobster tails on a serving plate. Spoon the creamy garlic butter sauce generously over each tail.

Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately with sides like crusty bread, mashed potatoes, or a crisp salad.
