Meet JDP
I am a Texas native with a rich culinary heritage, thanks to a Puerto Rican mother and an Italian father. Growing up, family gatherings always revolved around delicious meals, where I could be found in the kitchen, absorbing the art of cooking. After attending college in Colorado, I moved to Florida to work for a cruise company, giving me the chance to travel the world and experience food in different countries. I currently settled in Northwest Arkansas with my dog Mona and enjoy bringing my love for food to my friends and neighbors.
Though my professional path led to the tech industry, the passion for cooking never faded. Inspired by a brother who is a chef in Denver, I embraced the joy of cooking and sharing meals with friends and neighbors. As a child, I would pretend to host a cooking show, and now, thanks to TikTok, that dream is a reality. Through engaging videos, I show followers how easy and fun cooking can be, proving that anyone can create delicious dishes while having a good time in the kitchen. My favorite meals include arroz con gandules, chicken cutlets, meatballs and making homemade pasta!
