Chimichurri Marinade

Ingredients

  • Two tbsp of Salt Pepper Garlic

  • 2 tbsp chili powder

  • Juice from one orange

  • Juice from one lime

  • 1 cup olive oil

  • 4-6 cloves garlic chopped

  • ½ shallot

  • 1 bunch Cilantro

  • 1 stalk scallions(green onion)

Directions

  1. Chop Cilantro, onion and garlic. Add to a bowl or ziploc bag.

  2. Add the remaining ingredients and combine.

  3. Add meat and let marinate overnight. Perfect for fajitas, skirt steaks and chicken. This is a great flavor profile for a taco themed dinner.
