Cheesy Christmas Tree Bread
This holiday tree-shaped appetizer has all you need with baked biscuit balls stuffed with cheese! Serve with marinara
Ingredients
1 can of biscuits (8 count)
8 mozzarella string cheese sticks, each cut into 4 pieces (32 pieces total)
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp garlic powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried parsley flakes
¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Open the biscuit can and cut each biscuit into quarters (32 pieces total). Flatten each biscuit piece slightly, place one piece of mozzarella in the center, and roll it into a sealed ball, making sure the cheese is fully enclosed.
Arrange the cheese-filled balls on the baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree. Start with one ball at the top, then create rows beneath it, adding more balls per row to form a triangular tree. Add 2-3 balls at the bottom to resemble the trunk if desired.
In a small bowl, combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning or parsley. Generously brush the garlic butter mixture over the top of the biscuit balls. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the tree.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through. Let the tree cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with marinara sauce or your favorite dip on the side.
