Beef Chili

Christine's Beef Chili is packed full of flavor for a quick night comforting meal with seasoned ground beef, tomatoes, a variety of beans, garlic, and onion. Top it with sour cream, cheese, and green onions

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef

  • 1 small, diced onion

  • 2-3 cloves diced garlic

  • 2 Tsp oil, for cooking

  • 1 packet chili mix

  • 1 can Rotel

  • 1 can diced tomatoes

  • 1 can tomato sauce

  • 1 can kidney beans

  • 1 can pinto beans

  • 1 can black beans

  • Spices; chili powder, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, to taste

  • Garnishes: shredded cheese, sour cream, hot sauce

Directions

  1. Over medium high heat, add oil, onions, and garlic to a stock pot. Cook until fragrant.

  2. Add ground beef, breaking it up as it browns. Add chili packet, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and Rotel. Stir, then add all the bean varieties. Add garlic and onion powder along with salt and pepper to taste and cook over medium heat for 20 mins.

  3. Serve with your favorite toppings! I like shredded cheese, sour cream and some hot sauce.
