Baked Brie with Pineapple and Bacon
Ingredients
2 sheets puff pastry, thawed
1 (8 to 12-ounce) round brie cheese
3-4 oz bacon chopped (real bits)
2-3 oz of That Dam Jam Pineapple jalapeño jam
1 large egg, beaten
Directions
Heat the oven to 400°
Place one puff pastry onto a baking sheet
Place the brie wheel in the center.
Spoon That Dam Jam onto the puff pastry dough that the Brie wheel is not covering
Add bacon to the top of the jam
Place the second puff pastry sheet over the top of the Brie wheel, bacon, and jam
Gently press the puff pastry, so that it forms around the Brie wheel
Make cuts approximately every 2 inches into the puffed pastry, being careful not to cut too close to the Brie wheel, then twist each slice one to two times.
The egg and a separate bowl and brush over the whole entire puff pastry
Bake at 400° for 20 minutes.
